A break from Djazlah, The Hammer's Slammers Tanks are done!

Here they are, they're done and IMO, they look great. I found them easy to paint and receptive to some alteration with green stuff and work with stowage. The Decals Express stuff works well too, and they really bring the Hammers Slammers look together. I hope the Combat Cars turn out as nice.

  3. The grey was Americana Neutral Gray (Yep, that's right a craft store paint), I highlighted it by using ever increasing amounts of white. As for the skirts, same color but with some Privateer Flesh Wash mixed in. The gun barrels were Vallejo Gunmetal Grey, same with the damage to the turret, against a background of Vallejo Black Grey, I used the same color for the lift fan vents. As for the weathering? Vallejo Game Color smoke wash for the stains from the vents, and US Tan Earth for the weathering. Gunmetal Grey was used for the paint wear where the skirt plates met. Most of the gear was done in Vallejo Olive Green, though the sensor domes were done in US Dark Green. I also black washed the skirts as well to unify everything.

  5. Yep, sure am, I am not going to buy skimmers for each one, just going to use a counter to reflect whether or not they're skimmer mounted.
